Seasonal Collage 2

Page history last edited by PBworks 16 years, 7 months ago

Collage assignment two is about exploring line, shape, color, and texture. After you have read lesson seven and looked at IMAGEFOLDER SEVEN, use a variety of paper sources such as construction paper, magazines, or patterned images to create a collage that represents a season. Your textbook offers examples on pages 196 and 197. Use your imagination to expand your interpretation of the assignment. Do not attemp to make "pictures" on this assignment, although some thematic seasonal shapes such as "leaves for fall" could be incorporated. Before you begin this assignment, practice representing each season on a separate paper using only lines, shapes, and textures.  A good size for this assignment is 9" x 12". Below is the link to examples we viewed in the classroom. You may need to download a free version of WINZIP if you cannot open this folder.
